Yes. Every ZED product is engineered in Australia and built using high-quality components. Our housings are made from tough, impact-resistant polycarbonate (not cheap, brittle plastics), with stainless steel hardware and automotive-grade wiring. Each unit is assembled and quality checked in-house so it can handle real work and harsh outdoor conditions.
Will ZED products damage my power tool batteries?
No. ZED products are designed from the ground up to work safely with modern power tool batteries. We specialise in 12V portable power and use our own in-house–developed low-voltage protection to help prevent over-discharge. That means you get usable runtime without constantly worrying about ruining your batteries.
Are the plastics 3D printed at home?
No. ZED housings are not made on desktop 3D printers. Our enclosures are professionally manufactured using high-grade polycarbonate for strength, durability and a clean finish. This gives you a solid, reliable product that locks onto your batteries properly and stands up to daily use.
Will ZED products switch my power tool batteries off?
Yes. All ZED products include built-in low voltage protection. When your battery reaches a safe low level, the unit will automatically shut off to help protect the battery from over-discharge. You get the benefit of portable power, with an extra layer of protection for your investment in quality batteries.
Do you make ZED products to suit other power tool batteries besides Makita, Milwaukee and DeWALT?

Do ZED products use Genuine Anderson plugs?
Yes. Where Anderson-style connectors are used, we only use Genuine Anderson Plugs, matched with quality cabling and components. This helps ensure a secure connection, proper current handling and long-term reliability in the field.
