Which tool batteries fit?
Milwaukee M18, Makita LXT and DeWALT XR/FlexVolt 18V/20V batteries. Pick your brand above and the adapter is built for that brand's connection. Batteries not included.
Is this a volt dropper?
That's what a lot of Aussies call it. It's a regulated 18V to 12V converter: it holds 12V (13.5V actual) steady, not raw battery voltage.
What's the biggest fridge it'll run?
Any 12V fridge drawing under 5A, which covers most portable 12V fridges. For higher-draw gear or longer runtime, the dual-battery Middle Man (10A) is the better pick.
Will it charge my battery?
No. Solar sharing shares the load. Neither it nor the adapter charges your tool battery.
Can I run solar and a Starlink Mini at once?
Yes. Plug your regulated solar panel and the Battle Station into the two plugs on one end of a solar sharing splitter; the single plug on the other end runs the Starlink Mini. Solar shares the load; it doesn't charge your battery.

On the 5A Battle Station, run them one at a time, or check your fridge's draw first. The Middle Man (10A) has room for both.

What is the Battle Station and how is it different?
It's the fixed-mount kit. You bolt, screw, rivet or adhesive-mount it permanently to a ute, van, trailer, canopy, truck or shed wall to make a 12V power point that's always there. Same 12V/5A output as the Power Plate but without the light or the tool-free mounts, which is why it's the most affordable kit.
How do I mount it?
Semi-permanently. It has fixing points to bolt, screw, rivet or adhesive-mount it to your chosen surface, so it stays put in a vehicle, canopy, trailer or shed. The holes are 3.5 mm, on 90 mm and 60 mm centres.
Will it protect my battery?
Yes. The Smart LVD (low voltage disconnect) cuts power at 14.0V under load before the battery over-discharges, then hibernates at ultra-low draw, so a battery left connected for weeks is still a battery.
Will it protect my battery?
Makita packs have their own internal disconnect, and ZED Makita adapters rely on that. The adapter is fused inside, with 6 safety protections.

The Battle Station adapter and a 50A Anderson to female cig socket lead. It's a fixed-install unit, so you mount it with your own bolts, screws, rivets or adhesive.
